Club 218 on South Street in Philly.

12-7-2005 Philly Legends will be performing with EDO for the Abilene show!
Next EDO show to feature Hoagy, Mia Johnson and Tuba Dan!!

EDO will be performing Saturday December 10th at Abilene on South Street in Philly featuring our new drummer, Hoagy. Also sitting in will be Mia Johnson and Tuba Dan! ...and visuals provided by VJ Large Marge (aka Rich Wexler)!

This should be a good one, folks!

The Mama Kangaroos show at Abilene was completely great. EDO played our contribution to the CD with Essra followed by a well received set.


Essra Mohawk! 9-7-2005

That's right! Essra Mohawk who sang with EDO on the CD -
Mama Kangaroos: Philly Women Sing Captain Beefheart will be performing at the Tin Angel on September 9, 2005. Then Essra will sit in with EDO to perform the tune at the Mama Kangeroos CD release party the next night on September 10th at Abiline on South Street in Philly!

Also, ex-drummer Rich Moskowitz was kind enough to sub for Hoagy for the gig. So check it out, it should be fun for sure!

Philly Legend Hoagy agrees to record and perform with EDO for the upcoming summer months!


That's right! EDO is in the process of rehearsing with Hoagy with a plan to record the next CD and perform some upcoming shows.

EDO members with their own websites!? What's up with that?

Todd Young has just registered his domain name www.toddyoung.net with lots of cool pics, mp3's, funny stories, and updated info on the music that takes place at EDO's rehearsal spot "The Space" every week!

But that's not all!!
Pete Wilder is now the owner of www.petewilder.com! This site is more of a 'workshed' of Pete's independant art and Flash work, and features streaming audio and video - most notably classic horror film tributes. Soon to feature much more, and is (as always) a work in progress.

The Satans
Ex-EDO bassist John Thomas has just started a NEW BAND
called "The Satans" featuring 2 current members of EDO (Todd Young and Pete Wilder) and
2 members of Tintinabulus (Dave Bath and Scott MacDonald).

Andy McConnell is now on bass duty for EDO and is doing a heck of a job!

EDO has recently finished recording a Captain Beefheartcover of "Party Of Special Things To Do" that will be on a compliation CD of Beefheart tunes sung by women.
Since EDO doesn't have any women in the band, we were extremely fortunate to get none other than Essra Mohawk to sing on the track!
You might remember her from her work on
Schoolhouse Rock, or Frank Zappa and The Mothers.
